Feature Image

Running a successful recruiting event requires juggling many moving parts – managing hundreds of attendees, tight schedules, and high expectations from students and employers. But what if a simple solution could turn a potential headache like badge printing into a seamless, stress-free experience? Meet the Career Forge Badge Printing–a game-changing system that transforms an iPad, a handheld printer, a power source, and a table into an incredibly reliable, free-standing badge printing station.

Say goodbye to long lines, frazzled attendees, and missed opportunities. Career Forge Badge Printing ensures a smooth, professional experience that elevates your recruiting events to new heights.

We built Career Forge Badge Printing from the ground up based on the real frustrations career services teams shared about the existing systems. We heard it all: unreliable performance, hard-to-move equipment, and frustrating complexity. So, we built Career Forge Badge Printing for a simple, reliable, and portable on-site option. Here’s how.

This system is amazing. It's just so clean and sleek and super easy to use.
I've been doing check-in for years and years and years, and by far, this is so fast and amazing.
We're so thankful for it."

Print Reliably On-Site and In Real-Time

Imagine a career fair with hundreds of attendees waiting to print name badges while you, or hopefully an IT guy, troubleshoot the only available and suddenly broken printer. Recruiters can’t set up on time, and students might miss irreplaceable connections. Career Forge Badge Printing works all the time, every time, as long as the pre-loaded iPad and printer have power.

I've been working in career services for six years, and this is probably by far the most intuitive system that I've seen; it's great interaction with our employers allows us to engage in a different way and not be so distracted trying to get employers checked in."

Speed Up the Line with ID Cards

Manually verifying attendee information is time-consuming and dampens the mood of everyone waiting in line. Offering quick and reliable photo-ID recognition technology streamlines the process and gets students in front of recruiters faster.

We tested the software so that it won’t test your patience.

Sound familiar? Well, we heard you and turned your frustrations into a well-tested solution. We collaborated with career services and event hosts to build useful, portable badge printing software. Then, we tested and collected feedback, built a new version, and started again. Think of this as going through the technology version of “wash, rinse, repeat.”

The on-site debut was overwhelmingly successful and, like every new software program, a little glitchy. We converted those glitches into what we software engineers call “bug fixes” for a more robust, reliable in-person badge printing experience.

Immediately Update Attendee Information

A recruiter registers at the last minute, an attendee points out a spelling error in their registration, or someone wants to add credentials to their name. When you’re using the Career Forge Badge Printing, your new mantra is “No problem.”

In a few clicks, the attendee prints their corrected badge with a smile instead of asking you why their name or company is wrong.

The equipment setup was ridiculously easy! I saved so much time on the day of the fairs by not having to sort through different types of adapters and cords. Each station only needed two cords: one for the iPad to charge and one for the printer to work. Pairing the iPad and the printer beforehand saved troubleshooting the day of career fairs. This software, paired with the printers, was extremely reliable, and students were wowed by the simplicity of it all!”
